MARIE'S NOTES: Squirrels and Blackbirds (Grackles, Starlings, and Red Winged) tend to not like this seed. i recommend feeding it from a Cardinal friendly platform or tray feeder, as Cardinals and Rose Breasted Grosbeaks do like it, also Mourning Doves and House Finches. Chickadees and Nuthatches may eat it, but it isn't their favorite.
Chipmunks adore it, so if you find one packing the seed away in it's cheeks time after time, you may wish to add a squirrel baffle to the pole or shepherd hook, keeping in mind that chipmunks can jump short distances.
